It’s Just Uncommon Sense!

This question taken from closing keynote speaker Chip Heath.

Common sense isn’t sticky—you’ve got to find the uncommon sense in your message. When we hear something that surprises us, or something we wouldn’t have predicted, it grabs our attention. Keep in mind – people will remember your stories, not your advice. When have you told a story or used an uncommon sense message effectively?

What if FM goes away!? Could we be the same if called by any other name? I’m hearing some new titles like Workplace Strategist, or Support Services Manager.
What have you heard or what do you think about a new name for us?

I usually tell people to follow their gut. One time I had a gut feeling that I did not want to take on a particular project… I took the project anyway.. and then I ended up quitting halfway through… because I used uncommon sense by not following my gut instincts.
